Ready for another K-cups giveaway?
With summer around the corner now is a great time to tell you about two summer flavors from the wonderful people over at Cross Country Cafe. They are giving away two boxes of their Green Mountain Coffee Island Coconut Blend K-Cups and two boxes of their Tully’s Coffee Hawaiian Blend K-Cups !
I had the opportunity to try out both of these flavors this past month and overall I really liked them, but they are two very different types of coffee. If you are looking for a light roast with a nice blend of coconut flavor the Island Coconut is the way to go. I really liked this flavor, so much that I even enjoyed it black, and I am definitely not a black coffee drinker!
I like the Tully’s Hawaiian Blend as well, but it is a lot stronger than the Island Coconut, and since I am a light roast coffee type I preferred the Island Coconut. But, if you like a stronger coffee, the Tully’s has a great flavor to it, and I actually got used to the stronger flavor and enjoy it quite a bit now. It reminded me of a Starbucks Pike’s Place roast in it’s level of coffee strength, so if you like Starbucks you would definitely like this coffee.
As we’ve said before about deals on K-Cups from Cross Country Cafe, their price per K-Cup pretty much ALWAYS beats the price per K-Cup at your local grocery or retail store. So you might find a box for $11.99 at Target, Kohl’s, etc and $13.95 at Cross Country Cafe (most boxes), but the difference is that you are looking at 12 or 18 packs at the retail stores verses 24-packs at Cross Country Cafe. So the price per K-Cup is typically MUCH cheaper!
If you follow STS at all you will see that we love to post about their clearance deals as well as the big sale on popular K-Cups every Wednesday for their Wacky Wednesday Sale, which usually puts the price around $10.99 – $11.99 for a 24-pack – an awesome price per k-cup. And it’s not the cheap stuff either!
And you still have a few hours left to take advantage of this week’s Wacky Wednesda sale on Kahlua Original and Diedrich French Roast K-Cups! Check it out now as the sale ends tonight! (5/22)
You also get free shipping if you order $59 or more, which keeps the price per k-cup one of the lowest out there. And if you don’t want to buy that much for yourself you can go in with a friend, family member, or office mate who buys k-cups and put in an order together (and with PayPal it makes it super easy and free to pay each other back
).
