***Parental note*** If you are buying a Kindle eReader for your child you may want to consider spending a little more and getting the non-special offers version. Even though they have great parental controls where your child cannot download a book without your permission (pin), they advertise a lot of different books in the Special Offers version with images of the covers, so it’s kind of a wild card on what’s going to pop up. I’ve had the Kindle Wi-Fi and Paperwhite for a couple of months and so far no explicit images have shown up, but there have been some strange covers/titles that I would personally prefer my little ones not to see/read. I hope that helps some of you with your decision on which version to buy. These are pretty amazing eReaders and I definitely recommend them for your kids! 🙂
