Olive Oil Bread
  • ½ C Warm water
  • 2¼ Tsp Active dry yeast
  • 1 Tsp White sugar
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 4 Tbs Olive oil
  • 2½ C All-purpose flour
  1. Mix all ingredients except for flour in a large bowl
  2. Stir in 2 C flour and make a ball out of the dough
  3. Knead in additional flour
  4. Place kneaded dough in a medium sized greased bowl
  5. Cover and let sit until dough has doubled in size
  6. Punch dough and form into loaf shape
  7. Place on greased baking sheet
  8. Cover and let rise for 20 more minutes
  9. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  10. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown
