Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients
  • 1½ C flour
  • 1 C sugar
  • 3 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3 Tbs butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbs vanilla
  • 1 Tbs white vinegar
  • 1 C cold water
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Fill cupcake tins with 8 liners
  3. Sift dry ingredients
  4. Add remaining ingredients to bowl and mix
  5. Pour batter evenly into 8 tins
  6. Bake approx 35 minutes or until cupcakes spring back when touched
  7. Cool on wire rack
  8. Frost with desired frosting
