Rachel, I was watching the segment on GMA last week and I said to my husband “that’s Rachel from Surviving the Stores!!!! I follow her and learn soooo much!!!!” I was so excited to see you representing the money-saving blogging community!!! Way to go!

@Claire at Saving Money Plan, Yep! You hook it up directly to your computer and it works as long as you have an internet connection. We have the phone system where you have one base and then several phones that you put at random electrical outlets through the house and it works great! I'd highly recommend trying it out. It's been a huge money saver for us!

Sorry to ask a perhaps silly question – but does Magic Jack (saw your link to the $20 annual phone bill and couldn’t resist) working through your DSL connection? But you can have multiple handsets in the house so you’re not tied to the computer?

I thought I understood Magic Jack but I realize I don’t at all and should probably get it!
