There were some rumors that the Walgreens Easysaver book would be back this month (without the rebates). I haven’t missed the rebates AT ALL (rebates and me just don’t work real well together) but I have really missed all of the Walgreens coupons.

Well guess what?? Starting this month, Walgreens has a new coupon booklet! The September booklet will be good for the month of September only. Hopefully there will be some great deals when you combine a sale, manufacturer coupons, and these Walgreens coupons this month!

I was at Walgreens on Wed. and my store had the children's book w/coupons on clearance for $.49. It was perfect to use to get me to the dollar amount of the RR I was using. I didn't see this coupon book, and I looked everywhere. Do you know when it is starting and where it is located? Thanks, Rachel! Hope everything is well at your house.

Those previous Walgreens EasySaver coupon books had actual Walgreens coupons in them that you COULD combine with manufacturers coupons. But the September book of coupons (like the August one) has manufacturers coupons that although can only be used at Walgreens, can not be combined with other manufacturers coupons. Only one manufacturer coupon per item says 2 store managers and Corporate when I called them this past Thursday (I inquired after being told by a cashier I could not combine coupons). It does actually state on the coupon that it is a manufacturer coupon. :( Ugh, I liked the Easysaver books MUCH better!!

    Rachel,

The coupon book was at the front of my store by the weekly flyers. They might have just put it out there this weekend.

    Anonymous,

I talked to the cashiers at my store today and they said that the coupons in the Sept. book were Walgreens coupons (even though they said manuf. coupons on them) and that you could combine them with regular manufacturer coupons.

I will be calling corporate on Tuesday to see what's going on.

    Thanks for letting me know!
