I'm bummed about the rebate thing. It's really nice to use the card when you are making a purchase, but short on cash! I heard that Dillons/Kroger stores are no longer going to have the 4 packs of cottonelle. Another bummer!! Maybe Kristy is right, they don't really want us to save money, they just want us to buy at full price cause they know we still have to eat and use t.p.!

It's a bummer. I started couponing in late February. March was the first month I actually knew what I was doing. (I wish I had known the benefits of coupons earlier.) So, now they end the rebate program. Geez...Walgreens had become my new favorite store. I even have a favorite cashier! I hope they come up with a new comparable program or it’s back to Wal-Mart (sniff, sniff).

I heard a few months ago from a cashier at my Wags that they were going to do that and that they were possibly going to do a Rewards Card Program like CVS, Kroger, etc. Not sure how true that is but I guess we'll see. The rebate system was nice but kind of a pain to remember the deadline to submit them, to have to input everything from the receipt and to not be able to submit again if you'd already done it, etc. I sound so lazy but really, I'm not, I promise! I'm actually wondering if all the stores and manufacturer's are "onto" us. For instance, I've noticed a change in some of the coupons. Cottonelle used to have .50 off any 1 package where you could use it at Kroger and get one a 4 pack for free or next to nothing. Now my coupons read .50 off any (2) 4 packs or larger. There are some others out there too that I just can't think of at the moment. Plus, everytime I go into Wags or CVS out here, something seems to happen and I never get the deal I'm supposed to get. As I was checking out at Kroger the other day, the cashier was scanning my groceries and said to me, "You're going to have coupons, aren't you?" She was nice about it but she said she could "just tell". Hmm, not sure what that was supposed to mean! I'm thinking the jig us up! LOL Does anyone else get this feeling???Sorry this comment was soooo long!
