*NEW* Possible Scenario:

If you are new to coupon shopping at Walgreens, this would be a GREAT week to begin since your out of pocket cost could end up being very low.

This is just a sample scenario… you don’t have to follow it to a T, but you can if you want to. :)

Transaction #1:
Buy TWO Theraflu Cold, Cough, or Flu and Sinus products – $4 each
Buy Halls Refresh Sugar Free Drops – $1.00
Use TWO $2/1 Theraflu coupons (see above)
AND use $2/1 Walgreens coupon from the Healthy Savings Book (will take off $4)
Use 50¢/1 Halls coupon
Pay 50¢ out of pocket
Get back $5 in RRs ($1 for the Halls, $4 for the Theraflu)

Transaction #2:
Buy Gillette Fusion MVP Razor (manual or power) – $8.99
Buy a small VERY cheap “filler” item (as cheap as you can find)
Use $4/1 coupon from the 9/27 P&G
Use $5 RRs from Transaction #1
Pay $0 + the cost of the filler
Get back $6 in Register Rewards (from the razor)

Transaction #3:
Buy Emergen-C Booster – $3.49
Buy Robitussin DM To Go – $2.49
Buy a small filler item (you need the “filler” because the total of the above two items will only be $5.98. If you have a nice cashier, they might adjust it down for you so that you don’t have to buy a filler item.)
Use $6 RRs from Transaction #2
Pay $0 + cost of the filler item
Get back $6 in RRs ($3.50 from the Emergen-C, $2.50 from the Robitussin)

Transaction #4:
Buy Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion – $6.99
Buy Dentek Dental Picks (35 count) – $2
Buy 2 small filler items (since you will be using 4 coupons, you will need 4 items)
Use $1.50/1 Vaseline coupon (see above)
Use $1/1 Dentek coupon
Use $6 in Register Rewards from Transaction #3
Pay 49¢ + the cost of the filler items
Get back $9 in Register Rewards

Then you can take those $9 in Register Rewards and do more transactions, buy things that you need, or save them to “roll” next week!

…. and all that for a total of around $1 out of pocket!! :)
