Tom Thumb Trip (#1)

I had an hour window to head over to Tom Thumb today to go ahead and start my transactions for the Living Well Promo. I was able to get two transactions in before I had to head back and pick up the kids (a gracious friend offered to watch the kids while I went!)

I was able to get all of the above for $11.61 and I now have $16 worth of Tom Thumb coupons to use when I go back (um, tonight?) :)

You can see some links to the coupon matchups for these deals HERE.

How much should all of this cost? $89.85

Since I only paid $11.61, that’s a savings of 87%!

HOPEFULLY I will be heading to Tom Thumb and Kroger again tonight so I’ll let you know how that trip goes as well. :)

I was soooo excited after my Tom Thumb trip last night (I shop in Gainesville, TX, north of DFW). I did SIX transactions and had the sweetest cashier. My Cat's printed out just fine, and I spent under $30 (after Q's) each time. I got $222 worth of groceries for $93.I am ready to go back and do this promo again!I also was in need of several Pillsbury products, and they are running a promo where if you buy three of the qualifying Pillsbury items, you get a $3 Cat to use on your next purchase. After Q's, this is a good deal if you need Pillsbury rolls, etc. (These don't qualify for the Living Well promo, though).

I did the deal today in DFW area with no problems. My total before q's was 32.00 by my calculations. After q's I spent only $12.00 OOP. All I bought was Reynlods wrap foil (to use with my Earth Day rebate form) one jar of Ragu and 6 bags of catfood which I had 6 q'd for!!! My $10.00 catalina printed without problems.

Thanks so much! I did 3 transactions last night and had some trouble. Their computers are not completely caught up with all that is in the deal (at least that is what they told me). But after showing them their printed newspaper list of all the brands that I purchased (all were a part of it), they issued me a gift card which was better than the catalina because it has no expiration date! So, for all the readers, just be aware and be prepared to show proof if a catalina does not print out.

I bought a few of the 6 count Snack Bars (and used the 6 count coupon), but I bought mostly the High Protein Cereal Bars (they are over by the granola bars) and used the Fiber Fit or 5 count cereal bars coupon for those.

Did you used the 6ct or 5ct coupons at Tom Thumb? Which SB bars did you buy? Thanks

Cavender Family, When my South Beach coupons printed out out a few months back, there were two on each page. One of them was for the meal bars or 6 count and then the other one was for the Fiber Fit bars, or 5 count cereal bars. I remember checking a box to print out both coupons.

Rachel,Would you tell me, specifically, what South Beach products you bought and, specifically, what your South Beach coupon says. I printed out several of those months ago also, but having trouble redeeming them. My coupons says SB meal bars 6ct or snack delight. It hasn't been working for the regular SB bars since they are 5ct. Thanks in advance for letting me know what you did.

Carissa,Hmmm... my guess is that your store WANTS it to be after coupons, but that it's really $30 before coupons at your store as well. I live in the DFW area too and I don't think that they can change the machines and coupon printers to do different things at different stores.I've definitely done the "leave hubs in the car with the sleeping kids" trips to the store! :)

I did my first trip yesterday. But I called before I went and asked if it was 30 dollars before coupons or after. They said after coupons. So I didn't fair as well. But still made two transactions for the LW promo and a third that said they owed me .24 but he just zeroed it out, and I was fine with that since hubby had been in the car with the sleeping kiddos for 45 minutes already. Oh I'm in the DFW area. Have you heard of any other texas locations doing this?
