*IMPORTANT: The Target registers have been acting weird with gift card deals and sometimes are not taking off the full amount of the coupons. Option 1: Have enough extra in your cart to cover any “overage” after the gift card that the computer might think you are receiving (in this case you would need at least $5 in other products in your order). Option 2: Take your receipt to customer service after you place your order and have them credit you the full amount of your coupons.
(Thanks, My Frugal Adventures!)
My Target cashier said her register didn’t prompt her to give a gift card. I went to customer service and they said it was not in the flier or in their system for the Pond’s products I purchased. I got the same towelettes pictured, but they were on sale for less than $5 🙁
Was it the 30 count bonus pack? I wonder if it only works if the price is above $5? I haven’t tried it yet, but you can see a picture of the promotion here: http://myfrugaladventures.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/ponds.jpg
@Surviving The Stores,
They were the same 30 count packages, but our Target did not have the $5 gift card promotion. It was still a good deal though with the coupons.
