When I posted about this new offer last week, I signed up & got OVER 150 text messages saying welcome to Targets text messages. Of course the customer service was closed until Monday. The first 100ish came within minutes over hours. I started texting back STOP with each one. Finally over the next couple of days it got to the point of maybe 10 a day until finally 1 a day, then now ZERO! For someone who doesn't have unlimited texts it would have been bad, but thank goodness I have unlimited. It wasn't fun at first, but then became laughable.
