Hi – where are you seeing the $1/1 Wheat Thins and Triscuit crackers? I only see $1/2 unfortunately.

If I want to buy two bottles of kraft dressing(or anything else) with two target coupons, can I do it in one transaction or does it have to be a separate transaction for each? Last week I bought multiples in one transaction, but all of the target coupons say “limit one offer per transaction”. I don’t want to get in line and have problems. If someone could help me with this I would appreciate it.

Great question!

I typically tell the cashier when I get to the front of the line that I have a lot of coupons and then I ask her if I need to break it up into separate transactions. Just about every time he/she says, “Oh no, just put everything up here. You can do it all at one time.”

is this Target or Super Target? I check my Target’s circular and not seeing any of the deals.

Several of the deals are just current prices — not necessarily in the ad.

Silly me, I forgot to add the link in. It’s a Smart Source coupon. It should work now.

No, you’re right — it’s not there. I had some help with the matchups, and I didn’t check everything thoroughly. I think I’ve updated everything to be accurate now.

Please let me know if you see anything else that needs to be corrected!

Hi mg! I answered the same question above under Amanda’s comment.

I’m more than happy to do multiple transactions, but the cashiers usually tell me to do it all in one.

Rachel,
I read on a similar blog that the swiffer 10 rebate will not work if you do seperate transactions…so you will not make a profit. Sorry!

amy,

I just called the number at the bottom of the rebate form and they said you CAN submit multiple receipts. So it will still be a money-maker after rebate.

There were three target coupons in my newspaper insert a couple of weeks ago. I think the hot dog coupon was one of those.

For the Ritz Peanut Butter or Cheese crackers, my store only had the Ritz Peanut Butter Mini’s on Price Drop for $2, and the Target coupon wouldn’t work on them because they were not a large enough size. Did anybody find any other larger or ‘regular’ size PB crackers that I missed that would work with the Target coupon?

Hi Rachel!

Thank you SO MUCH for this list! I've got a thick envelope full of matchups — many of them free or almost — and I would never have had the patience to figure them out on my own.

One question: do you have any specific order in which you hand over the manufacturers versus the Target coupons? I've got it down for CVS & Walgreens, but can't remember if it's important at Target to hand over one set, then another, or hand over the coupons matched up with the Target. I'm going to have a big enough order not to want to cause a huge hold up.

Thanks,
Mary Beth

Mary Beth,

Yes, make sure to give them the manufacturer coupons first, then the Target coupons if you will get overage.

Hi Rachel,
First of all, I want to thank you for all the hard work you put into this site. I just found it last week by accident. I know you say you can use the target copons and manufacturer coupons but do they really “go through” or do you have to point out “this is a store coupon and this is a manufacturer coupon so I can use both” to the cashier.
Thanks,
Leslie

I thank God for you. I was able go to Target and feel like a coupon pro like the ones on TV. I bought $24.95 worth of groceries for only $5.47. I have you linked on my blog!

Did anyone else have any problems with these coupons? I gave my cashier the manufacturer’s coupons first then target coupons, but I still had trouble with the Joint Juice, Hershey Bliss, Kraft cheese, and a couple of others. She pushed them through anyway but I was kind of embarrassed.

Erica,

The cashiers typically (unless they are new) realize that sometimes coupons beep for no apparent reason and that sometimes they will have to push them through. Nothing to be embarrassed about… it happens to all of us.

My target (in DFW area) did not have the following on sale: Kraft dressing, 100 cal packs, Bliss.. and a couple other items! : (.. But I got everything else. I did have a hard time at checkout. Seems like 50% of my coupons beeped and I had a little old lady who questioned everything. Kind of frustrating.. I wasn’t trying to pull any fast ones!!

I tried to use some of my coupons on the travel sizes last weekend and was told that “Target does not accept coupons on travel size items.” I pointed out to the cashier and supervisor that the coupon did NOT specify that trial or travel size items are excluded from the offer. They told me it was a Target policy not to accept coupons on travel sizes. Anyone else have this problem or a way around it? Maybe it is just the Target nearest to me.

Are Target coupon policies the same nationwide or does it vary by store?
I am at the point where I cannot be bothered to shop at Target at all because every cashier seems to take it personally that I am using a coupon (like it is coming out of her paycheck or something?)Today I used the Target GoldnPlump chicken coupon with the mfq and neither of them worked but she did not bother to tell me and I did not notice until I got home. So my coupons are gone and I did not get the $2.50. I had some other coupons. I never heard the register beep or anything to indicate there was a problem. Also, my Target is so overpriced, even with coupons, it is cheaper to shop elsewhere.
OK, sorry for venting, but I am so over Target today!

Leslie,

The cashiers should be aware that you can use one Target coupon and one Manuf. coupon per item. I have never had to tell them which is which.

I had a huge hassle in Target today trying to get them to accept manufacturer’s coupons AND Target coupons. I printed out an email from the Attention Target Shoppers blog that is from Target Guest Relations that explained their coupon policy. The cashier was willing to help me but said it required a manager override, and then the manager refused to come to the front of the store to override. I’ll try a different Target location, and if they won’t honor their own coupon policy I’m done with Target. Kroger and CVS don’t have these issues. Sorry – now I’m rambling. My point is this…print out the email at http://www.attentiontargetshoppers.blogspot.com and maybe you’ll have ammunition to work through some of the common coupon issues (if you get a competent manager). Good luck!

I have been seeing the deal with the Hershey Bliss candy bars at $.99 and then use the Target printable to get if FREE. Well I have gone to a couple different Targets in my area and all of them management tells me that your not allowed to use that coupon for the candy bars that it has to be for the bag of candy.

36 Rachel @ Surviving The Stores May 16, 2009 at 6:58 pm

Cents’able’ Mom,

I guess it just depends on the management at each store. The coupon doesn’t say that it’s valid only on the bags, but the store reserves the right to reject a coupon for any reason.
