My blogger friend Heather over at NWA Deals wrote a great post this morning on the Target coupon policy! You can read the full post HERE.
She called Target Customer Relations and hashed out exactly what coupons could be used and when. Here are some of the highlights of what she found out:
1) If there are no restrictions on a coupon (like the Hershey’s Bliss bars) you CAN use it on an item that is less than the coupon and the cashier is supposed to adjust it down! This means, according to Target Corporate, that you CAN buy the the Hershey’s Bliss bars by the registers at 99¢, use the $1/1 Target coupon and get them for FREE! So, how many of you guys are going to run out and buy them NOW?? They really are the most amazing candy bars I’ve ever had!
2) You CAN use coupons on trial/travel size item if the coupon does not exclude it! If the coupon is more than the item the cashier, again, should adjust it down.
3) Customer Relations WANTS you to call them while you are in the store and report any problems so they can speak to the manager on duty RIGHT THEN! Program the following number into your phone and don’t hesitate to call it if you run into any coupon issues: 1-800-440-0680
Maybe if enough of us call they will start training their employees better in their coupon policies!
Thanks a bunch Heather for clearing up these issues for us!
