Super Savings Saturday!

Did you score big at the grocery store this week? Did you take a picture of all of your loot?
I only went to one grocery store this week…. TARGET! And I had so much fun getting $300 worth of mostly KASHI products for only $67! Here’s the pic with my Kashi steals:

You can go to my post HERE to see what else I was able to get. Please note that I ALWAYS ask the cashier if I need to split it up into multiple transactions since I have so many coupons. They always tell me no, that I can do it all at once. But I am more than willing to separate it all if they want me to.
Leave a link to your grocery store savings and share your picture with us! Please link directly to your grocery store savings post and not to your home page or any other section of your site. This link-up is not for coupon matchups, but specifically for pictures of your trip(s).

How did you do this week? I would love to hear!
This Super Savings Saturday is a little different than most. Since I was able to stock up on meat two weeks ago, and I got TONS of veggies last week at Kroger, I decided to not go grocery shopping this week. That means that we have spent less than $15 this week at the store (for fruit, newspapers, and ice cream/cake for hubby’s birthday!) I love weeks like this because that means that I have a little more wiggle room in my shopping trips for the rest of the month!

I made a trip to Albertsons today to get a “few” things. They have their boneless/skinless chicken breasts and chicken tenders on sale for $1.67/lb!! That’s a GREAT price! I went ahead and stocked up and got enough chicken for 20 meals. I divided it up into freezer bags so that I would just have to thaw one bag for dinner each night. Since I got so much chicken, I spent a little more than our weekly $70 budget that we are trying to keep to. But I won’t be buying meat for a while, so that will make up for it.
The Kraft cheese sticks (12 count) were marked down from $5.99 to $2.00 each. And there was a coupon dispenser with a 75¢/1 coupon next to the cheese. $1.25 for Kraft cheese sticks? I’ll take FOUR!
The DanActive Yogurt and Yogurt drinks (4 pack) were on sale for $2.00. I used my $1/1 coupons from the 1/11 SS to get them for $1 each.
I paid $82.98 for everything, and my receipt says that my total savings was $133.94, making all of the above worth $216.92.
$82.98 for $216.92 worth is a savings of 62%!

I spent forever rounding up Kashi coupons, and went today to the Lewisville Target to stock pile, and the cashier checked with her manager on every coupon I had. And they would NOT take my manufacturer's coupon with a target BIGI. I didn't even get to try doing the $.50 ones. I was so mad leaving there. I tried calling coorperate, but they said I would have to talk to someone on Monday…. Aug. What a dissapointment.
