KROGER:

I finally went to Kroger tonight to stock up on items in their Mega Sale! I bought 20 Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamer coupons on eBay (for $2.50 total) because I knew now was the time to stock up on veggies since they were FREE!

How much would everything pictured have cost without coupons/sales? $183.43

How much did I pay for everything pictured?? $34.69!!

That’s a percent savings of 81%!!!!!!

I still have half of my grocery budget for the week to spend tomorrow at Albertsons. :)

CVS:

I needed (needed probably isn’t the right word) to go back to CVS today to get the Fusion Gamer razor since the coupon expires today and they didn’t get them in the stores until yesterday! I did two transactions…

Transaction #1:

CVS Dry Skin Cream – $1.37 (clearanced from $5.49 and I had a $1 off any CVS brand lotion coupon)
2 Gillette Shampoo/Conditioners – $4.99 each
2 Venus Embrace Razors – $7.99 each
Benefiber Easy Dissolve Powder – $7.29
Benefiber Chewables – $6.49 (these two Benefiber products will carry over to my next transaction to get the $20 I need to get $10 in ECBs for buying Benefiber products)

Total before coupons and ECBs: $41.11

- $5/$25 CVS coupon (printed when I scanned my card today in the price scanner at the front of the store)
- $1/1 CVS skin care coupon (also printed today)
- $3/1 Benefiber CVS coupon (which can be used IN ADDITION TO the manufacturer’s coupons)
- 2 $4/1 Venus Embrace razors
- 2 $2/1 Benefiber coupons
- 2 $2/1 Gillette coupons
- $15.99 in ECBs that I earned from previous weeks

—————————–
12¢ Out of Pocket after coupons and ECBs

And I earned $12 in ECBs to use in my next transaction or at a later time!

Transaction #2:

2 Gillette Fusion Razors – $7.99 each
2 Mentos Gum – Buy one at $1.69, get one free (my kids love these!)
Werthers Mini-Candy (Sugar Free)- $1.39 (couldn’t resist and I needed a filler item so that I wouldn’t lose any ECBs)
Benefiber Easy Dissolve Powder – $7.29

Total before coupons and ECBs: $26.35

- 2 $4/1 Fusion coupons
- $2/1 Benefiber coupons
- 55¢/2 Mentos coupon
- $15 ECBs that I earned previously

—————————-
80¢ Out of pocket after coupons and ECBs

AND, I earned $18 in ECBs to use on future CVS trips (um, tomorrow) :)

GRAND TOTAL OUT OF POCKET: 92¢

PERCENTAGE SAVINGS: 98.6% :)

My friend Stephanie over at Couponing 101 and I went shopping together and between the two of us had 12 transactions at Kroger! We used the self checkout lanes (all 6 were open) and the cashier was so nice and patient with us! Stephanie scored big at Kroger too… go check out her trip HERE!

Great job! I told your friend that I am so jealous that you all have Kroger to shop at. Our grocery stores in Central PA don't throw the greatest deals, so I could never leave the store with that much for so little. You did awesome!

You did great. I went to Kroger yesterday and for some strange reason I was given everything free and a $5.00 credit to my grocery money card. STRANGE I SAY!I bought 10 Kraft cheese(Mega Deal) used 10 $.75/1 coupons. The cashier did not scan then as $.75 she manually entered them as $1.99 each...weird.Same thing happened to another blogger "Little Miss Coupons".I'm not complaining though. Thanks for sharing your haul.
