Patti Brown is a wife and mom who loves to play in the kitchen. Her three children and husband are usually happy to try her inventions, and even join the fun. Their kitchen is the busiest room in the house!
Starting at the age of four, when her mother realized she was reacting to cow’s milk and brought home goat’s milk from a local farm, Patti has been experimenting with food substitutions. Her family traveled oversees frequently, which gave her ample opportunity to expand her palate as a child.
Patti has had seasons of cooking vegetarian, gluten-free, low-carb or allergen free for herself and the people she loves. Because that wasn’t enough variety, ten years ago she and her husband moved the kids to the country and started raising their own food. This brought a whole new range of culinary opportunities (kidneys or cow tongue anyone?)
Patti and her daughter write about cooking, handcrafts and their latest home arts projects at their blog Blossoms And Posies
