There are two AWESOME deals going on at Staples.com right now.
UPDATE #2: Staples decided to pull the deal. The wait time to speak with a CSR is currently 2 hours, so you might want to try later today if you need the credit to your account.
1) The first deal is a Cyber Monday deal, so it’s only good through tomorrow, November 30th. Click HERE and add $25 worth of Sharpie products to your cart. You will need to click on “View our full assortment of Sharpies” because the ones on that first page are sold out. The page will tell you to add a coupon code (96140) at checkout to get $25 off your order, but the coupon code doesn’t work. So, to get your free Sharpies, you will have to either purchase them at full price and call customer service at 1-800-782-7537 to get the $25 credited back to your card, or you can call customer service directly and order from them over the phone. Shipping will cost you unless you ship it to your store, or you can combine deals #1 and #2 to get free shipping (see details below deal #2).
UPDATE: It looks like the promo page has been taken down, BUT the details are available on the individual Sharpie product pages. Just do a search for Sharpie & when you are on a specific product click “Promotion Details” and all of the info about the rebate should be there (at least, it was for me!).
2) The second deal runs through December 26th. To take advantage of it, first sign up for Staples Rewards HERE. Then go to the Staples page HERE and add up to two 20-packs of AA or AAA batteries to your cart. Make sure you enter your Rewards number at checkout. The price of the batteries will be $12.99 each, but you will get that $12.99 back in Staples Rewards in January (then you can use it on printer ink!) 
You can get up to two packs of batteries PER WEEK (while supplies last). Wow! We should be stocked up on batteries for a while! (FYI, this deal is running both online and in-store)
If you want to combine both of the deals to get free shipping (this is what I did) then you will want to do the following:
- Click HERE to sign up for Staples Rewards
- Once you are signed up, click HERE and add $25 worth of Sharpie products to your cart
- Do a search for “Duracell Coppertop” and you will see the 20-pack priced at $12.99 that says “Special Buy”
- Add two of the battery packs (either AA or AAA) to your cart as well
- Your total will end up being at least $50.98, which will get you FREE shipping!!
- Call Staples customer service during their business hours at 1-800-782-7537 and give them your order number to get the $25 credited back to you from the Sharpie deal
- Get another $25.98 in Staples Rewards in January!!

Just called customer service and the recording said the sharpie deal is no longer valid. The wait to talk to a real person was 2 hours!!
