The first 25,000 fans of Safeway on Facebook to load the coupon on their card will get a coupon for a FREE 5 lb. box of Clementines with an additional $25 purchase.
The way to get the coupon is a little confusing, so here is the step by step:
1. Go to the Safeway Facebook page HERE and become a fan. (Note: this deal is good for all Safeway affiliates including Tom Thumb, Randalls, Pavillions, Carrs, etc…)
2. Once you are a fan, click on the little “>>” to the right of the “Blogs” tab and then click on “Events” (it should be the option at the very bottom once you click on the “>>”)
3. The Free Clementines “event” should show up. Click on “RSVP” and “Attending”.
4. Once you get to the actual event page, there will be a link in the event description that you need to click on to go to the Safeway coupon page.
5. Sign-in (or sign-up) for your online Safeway account to save the the Free Box of Clementines coupon to your card.
6. This coupon will ONLY be available to use on Tuesday December 8th, but a FREE 5 lb. box of Clementines is worth it, in my opinion!

does the 25 dollar purchase is before coupons or after coupons?
The $25 is before coupons as long as you give them this coupons first. Also the $25 is including the clemantines which are around $8.99 regular price.
@Melissa, I talked to someone at the 1-877-safeway phone line and he said you need to spend 25.00 after all discounts and coupons.

really?? does it say that online?? All the other coupons they offer after $25 purchase is after card before coupons.

@Rainey, Just went back to the facebook page and they are adding more restrictions to it. they have now added that it is after all discounts and coupons, not including the clemantines, and they listed a whole list of exclusions. I remember the big deal about the Mijeir coupons from facebook not to long ago, this one I think is going to get just as bad.

@Melissa, Our Safeway has a good Gladle candle store coupon that I can use with my manuf. coupon so I’ll go and give the clementines a try. Safeways facebook may be a war zone tomorrow. Good Luck
@Melissa, I didn’t see all of the restrictions on there earlier, either. Still a good deal if you were planning on shopping anyway, but a bummer that it has to be $25 after coupons and discounts.

@Rachel @ Surviving The Stores, They weren’t there earlier that is why you didn’t see them. After the complaining and confusion they decided to add everything to the event page so everyone has the info. They probably should have done that first though. hopefully they learned that for the next time they do it.
