If you haven’t noticed, I haven’t been posting much the past couple of days. Since this blog is in the “deal blog” category, I try to keep personal things to a minimum, but I wanted to share with you guys a little about what is going on with me right now.
Last week, we found out that the baby that I was pregnant with stopped growing at 6 1/2 weeks (I was at the 9 week mark). We decided to let the miscarriage take place naturally, and it began on Sunday night. There were complications and I ended up having to be taken to the hospital to have an emergency D&C. I am recovering well, although I will be dealing with anemia over the next month until my blood count gets up to where it’s supposed to be.
My husband and I are both currently doing well emotionally (we did most of our grieving last week after the sonogram), and trust that God really does work all things together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Our hope and peace through this is solely in our Lord Jesus.
