There is a Dove deal in this week’s Walgreens deals that has turned out to be a MONEY-MAKER! Woohoo! And now that we have the $5/$25 Walgreens coupon good Wed and Thurs, it can turn out even better.
Here’s how the Dove deal would work:
Buy 8 2-packs of Dove Soap @ $2.24 each
Use 8 $1/1 Dove FACIAL CARE coupons from the 5/17 or 6/7 RP
Pay $9.92 out of pocket
Get back $10 in RRs
8¢ Money-maker after coupons and RRs!
So let’s put this into a scenario with the $5/$25 coupon…
Buy 8 2-packs of Dove soap ($17.92)
Buy 3 All Detergents ($13.47)
Buy 3 boxes of Kellogg’s Cereal ($10)
————————
Total before coupons: $41.39
- 8 $1/1 Dove coupons (see above)
- 3 $1/1 All coupons
- 3 $1/1 Kellogg’s coupons
————————–
$27.39 before Walgreens coupon
- $5/$25 Walgreens coupon
Pay $22.39 out of pocket (or with Register Rewards if your manager will allow it – some do, some don’t)
Get back $18 in Register Rewards ($10 for the Dove, $5 for the All, and $3 for the Kellogg’s)
Grand total: $4.39 for everything after coupons, $5/$25 coupon, and Register Rewards!!
Do you have a scenario for the $5/$25 coupon? Leave a link below or add it to the comments section! (Hopefully Mr. Linky will work properly this week!)

There was a $1.50/1 Select Kelloggs Cereals in our Sunday's Paper. That would bring your final cost down to 2.89!

One more suggestion to turn it into a potential moneymaker would be to replace either the cereal or laundry detergent with something that has a full mail in manufacturer's rebate. One I can think of off the top of my head is the Vitamin Shampoo that is reporting to have MIR tags on them. Or possibly Just for Men if you haven't already submitted for that rebate. Personally, I'd probably drop the cereal instead of the Laundry detergent as better deals come up frequently on cereal but good deals on laundry detergent though sometimes better seem to be more rare.

THe KY yours and mine is normally 19.99 and is on sale for 14.99 with the 5 dollars off in store coupon combined with the 5 dollars off MF coupon from the 12/7 RP it comes out to be 4.99.

Hi, Great scenario but I'm a little confused! How is it possible to use RR's after the
$5/$25. I thought that RR's are consider as MQ.

Sadly, you total cash due does need to total $25 after all other coupons AND RR's before you can use the 5/25. The scenario above is saying what your "relative cost" would be if you take into account the RR's you earned not spent on the transaction.

Hey guys! My Walgreens will let me use RRs after the $5/$25 coupon, so I sometimes forget that not all will. I've updated the post accordingly.

Anyone know where I can get Dove coupons if I missed the Red Plum on 6/7? I've already checked Dove.com.

I'm a little confused – my Dove coupons are for a bar 6 pack or larger…are these the ones you are talking about using? Thanks!

Hey Robin! No, not the 6 pack coupon since it's a 2 pack of soap. The Dove Facial Care $1/1 coupons work for this product. Dove advertises that their soap is gentle enough to use on your face, right?
