If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, there is an awesome menu planning opportunity this upcoming weekend (Saturday Feb 21st). One of my favorite bloggers, Erin from $5 Dinners will be holding a $5 Dinners workshop in Grapevine on Saturday. There will be two workshops, one from 10am – noon and one from 1:30pm – 3:30pm. And the cost is… you guessed it!… FIVE dollars! 🙂
Come learn how to feed your family for under $5 every night! Get more details and registration information at Erin’s blog HERE!
Now for Menu Plan Monday…
The pork chops that I made last week were AWESOME! I didn’t have any Sage, so I used Tarragon instead, and I totally forgot to add the Parmesan Cheese, but they were still amazing. I will definitely use that recipe again!
Monday: Baked Ziti (and I add tomato sauce too) with broccoli
Tuesday: Chicken Taco Casserole (make 2, freeze 1)
Thursday: Chili (just the Hormel chili that I got from Kroger a couple of weeks ago — I add extra kidney beans) and CousCous (you can use couscous just like rice in any recipe and it only take 5 minutes to make!)
Friday: Hawaiian Chicken with rice and veggies
Sunday: Mini Chicken Pot Pies
