I have another one for those of you who have (or know someone who has) a Digital SLR camera: a Lightscoop!

This little device really truly is amazing for photographers who don’t want to (or can’t) buy a ton of lighting equipment or camera classes but want to take pictures in low light (read: inside) and not have them look like everyone in the picture is a zombie (thank you, direct flash). Rachel (and their website) don’t exaggerate! Though I personally wouldn’t call it “pro-level lighting,” it’s amazing what this tiny piece of plastic-mounted mirror can do! It’s certainly worth the $35 and it’s so cool you have one to give away!

I love my DSLR, but not it’s flash. I have an speedlite for it, but sometimes it is too much having that on there. Lightscoop seems perfect.
