This deal only comes around a couple of times a year (Black Friday and around July 4th) and it’s a GREAT ONE!!
We’ve done this before and it has worked, and we’ve heard from several of you guys who did this last Black Friday and had no issues with getting your bonus money!

You can actually get several different bonuses right now when you sign up for various online checking and/or savings accounts with ING Direct.
I’m going to go through the ones that would be the easiest extra money first (and the ones that most people can do) and then I’ll list out the other ones at the end of the post.
Here how to get a BONUS of $156 with an Electric Orange Checking Account:
There are a couple of things you have to do to get your $156 bonus, but when you think about how long it would take to do them versus how much you would be making… well, it’s definitely worth it!!
1. Open an Electric Orange Checking Account (there are no fees at all to open one – and ING is a very reputable online bank)
2. Within 45 days, make at least 5 purchases using your Electric Orange Debit Card OR you can do 5 Person2Person Payments if you would prefer that. Once you do that, $76 will be deposited into your account by August 22nd.
3. To get the other $76 added, set up direct deposit and have at least 2 direct deposits of $250 or more go into your Electric Orange account by August 31st. The $76 will be deposited by September 10th. (With most employers you can switch over the direct deposits of a couple of your paychecks temporarily and then just switch it back if you want to).
And you now have an extra $156 that you didn’t have before! Pretty great investment for just a little bit of your time, right?
Here’s how you can get a BONUS of $17.76 PER KID that opens a Kid’s Savings Account:
1. Open a Kids Savings Account with a new Customer June 30th – July 3rd either you or the kiddo must be a new Customer to
ING DIRECT and yes, the kiddo must be under 18 years old)2. No minimum deposit amount is required.
3. The $17.76 bonus starts earning interest upon account opening, and is available for withdrawal after 30 days.
Here’s how you can get a BONUS of $27.76 for your TEENS:
1. Open a MONEY account June 30th – July 3rd and make 1 Card transaction (signature, PIN-based or with PayPassTM) using your MONEY Card within 30 days.
2. No minimum deposit amount is required.
3. The $27.76 bonus will be automatically deposited into your account on day 35.
Here’s how you can earn $76 for the first two friends you refer to ING Direct:
1. Refer a Friend between June 30th – July 3rd and you’ll receive a $76 bonus for the first 2 friends who open an Orange Savings AccountSM with a minimum deposit of $250 using the link in the referral email that you’ll receive before July 31st, 2012.
2. Each of your friends will get a $25 bonus (if they open the account with at least $250).
3. Your original $10 bonus will be deposited into your account when each of your friends opens an account. Your additional $56 bonus will be deposited into your account by August 10th, 2012.
4. Your friends must be new Customers as the primary owner of the account.
5. To take part in the Refer a Friend program, you must have an Orange Savings Account or Electric Orange checkingSM.
***Those were the easier ones. Here are the two harder ones, but I wanted to list them out just in case any of you were interested in these as well…***
Get up to $276 when you open a ShareBuilder IRA account:
1. Open a new ShareBuilder Individual Retirement Account (IRA) between June 30 – July 3, 2012 and use promotion code 76IRA.
2. If you already have an IRA at ShareBuilder, just go online and add promotion code IRA76 to your existing IRA in Profile & Settings of your Account Overview by July 3, 2012.
3. Afterward, you’ll need to roll over a qualified retirement account or transfer an existing IRA of at least $10,000 to receive a $176 bonus.
4. For extra incentive: roll over a qualified retirement plan or transfer an existing IRA valued at $25,000 or more to receive a $276 bonus. Assets must be posted to your account by September 1, 2012.
Get a $76 bonus when you open a ShareBuilder (investment) account:
1. Open a new ShareBuilder account and deposit $3,500 or more to receive the $76 bonus offer.
2. Initial deposit must be completed by 8/31/12.
3. ING DIRECT Investing will deposit a $76 bonus approximately 4-6 weeks after your first $3,500 deposit.
