Yes, I caved. Because they were free. And because I’ve REALLY been wanting some but Ryan keeps objecting… but how can he argue with free, right?
I was checking out the deals on Zulily today and saw that they had kid’s toe shoes on sale. I was going to just pass it up, but I decided to click on it anyway just to see what they had. And what did they have? WOMEN’S TOE SHOES!! In PURPLE!!! Perfect!
And then I remembered that I had gotten a $50 voucher at Plum District a while back for Zulily for just $25 that expires soon, so I could use that to buy the toe shoes and something else and pay nothing extra out of pocket!
So I added the women’s purple toe shoes to my cart (sorry kids, mom gets toe shoes first!) and also found a burger press that I’ve been wanting for $13.99. My total came out to $53 with shipping, so after the $50 voucher it was only $3! AND, I had a little credit in my Zulily account so that covered the $3 too!
You can see the toe shoes (and the burger press) over on the Zulily website HERE!
Has anyone else tried out the toe shoes thing? What do you think?

Soooo ugly…but I have friends who LOVE them!
you are good ! Thanks for all your posts you save alot of money
I have Vibram Five Fingers- i LOVE them!
My son had the Vibram Five Fingers and loved them. I also stopped a few women in a theme park and they said they loved them.
My son wants some. I think they are sort of weird looking but I don’t have to wear them. Lol.
I would love to try them … especially if they were free = )
Not the prettiest, but Lordy they are comfortable.
I too have the Vibram Five Fingers and they are Super Awesome, Also great to work out in!
l’m a runner~l’ve been running 5k’s for a few years, just completed my 1st half marathon the weekend of Easter. l’ve been wanting to try these shoes for running~l hear they are supposed to be like running barefoot, which l’ve heard is supposed to be best for your feet. l just couldn’t spend that much money on them, and then not like them. The weekend before my race, we ran our 12 mile long run, and then my right foot started hurting. l thought it would be better before the race, l only had a light week of training. Toward the end of the race it was really bothering me. l went to the dr the next week~possible stress fracture and tendonitis. So now l’m ono pain meds, and suppposed to be starting physical therapy for it. Last week l was shopping at Ross, and came across a pair of the Fila Skeletoes~black and pink!! They were only $35, and l had store credit for $30, from a pair of Brooks that l had to return. So l only had to spend $5 oop to get them. (l did spend the $35, because l originally bought the Brooks) l wore them around the house last night, but l didn’t keep them on long~it hurts to have my foot in an enclosed shoe right now. l can’t wait til my foot is healed and l can get back into my workout routine. l’m really curious to see if these are better for my feet while running!
I have vibrams, I love them, I’m actually wearing them right now!
17 year old son has the vibrams for cross country and loves them, my 9 year old daughter just started running and has the Skeletoes, and she loves hers too. She says they “massage her feet!”
Ugliest thing sense crocks
my man has some, he loves them. he even mows the lawn in them lol.
I have a pair but have only worn them once because I want to wear socks with them, but haven’t found any toe socks that don’t go up to my knees.
I bought them for my 9-year-old son and he loves them. However, they aren’t holding up very well.
My son have the Skeletoes by Fila he wanted them for track and loves them!!! I personally wouldn’t wear them or the sock with toes either!
I have a pair of Skeletoes by Fila and I LOVE them. Call them ulgy if you want! I call them comfortable.
My kid has them and hates them
you tell Ryan toe shoes are awesome!! and i hear they are supposed to be the best shoes for your feet b/c it makes you walk the way you are supposed to… I don’t have any, but you can’t beat free for sure!!
I currently have him okay with me wearing them, but I can pretty much guarantee that he will never ever ever own a pair for himself! I’ve heard the same thing! I did want Sketchers Shape Ups for a while but I’m thinking (hoping) that these will be even better? Maybe!
My 13 year old loves them for running. I will warn that he now has perpetually stinky feet.
Good friend of mine bought them. Didn’t want to tell him how horrifyingly ugly I think they are. His feet hurt pretty bad for awhile before he got used to them. Man, they are hideous. They make Crocs look positively spectacular.
LOL! And there definitely isn’t much of anything that can make Crocs look great. It was a free experiment so I’ll have to get back on and give an update on if I think the comfort is worth the ugliness of them. :)
