How To Do A Boys Haircut YOURSELF! – {Thursday’s Frugal Tip From Pinterest!}

It seems like my boy’s hair grows faster than a weed!   I can get away with only cutting my girls’ hair a couple of times a year, but my 7 year old boy’s hair is shaggy after just a month.  BUT, I have a solution!  I found detailed, step by step instructions on Pinterest on how to give your boy a nice haircut for free.  It looks pretty simple, so I plan on becoming my son’s new barber the next time he needs a haircut.  And maybe one day Ryan will let me cut his hair too after I’ve had enough practice.  Maybe?  😉

  1. I have 3 boys (4 if you include my husband) and I have been cutting their hair for over 2 years now. I did some checking online, but had been watching closely as they got haircuts. I invested in some trimmers, clippers and scissors and have long since paid for them. Good luck and enjoy the savings!

  2. This is what i do for a living. Just make sure to invest in a good pair of scissors that are never used to cut anything else. Good trimmers and clippers will help too. Try Sally’s beauty supply. Good Luck!!

    I’m a frugal girl and I always do my hair cut by myself. I mean I cut the bangs. Under the tough economical climate, live a green and frugal life will help a lot. I love saving money and like to attempt to try saving money methods.
