Yesterday, my friend Brittany shared with all of us about a great organization called Compassion International that specifically helps children in poorer parts of the world.
Today, bloggers all around the blogosphere are pledging to donate a certain amount to relief efforts in Haiti. Together we really can make a difference in the lives of the people in Haiti.
I know all of us have heavy hearts right now for Haiti and are left wondering what we can do to help. While we definitely can give monetarily what we are able to give, we also need to make a commitment to pray for the people of Haiti.
If you are giving monetarily to Haiti relief efforts and have written about it on your blog, please add a link to your post about it below. For every link, my husband and I will donate $2 (up to $500) to Compassion International’s disaster relief fund.
For those without a blog, please leave a comment below sharing what you are doing to help (monetarily or through prayer). Feel free to comment anonymously if you feel more comfortable with that. For each comment I receive on this post letting me know how you are helping, we will donate an additional $2 to relief efforts through Compassion International.
In addition to commenting below with how you are helping, please visit the blogs linked below:

Thanks for your efforts.
God bless you for doing this!
I donated $10 via text to Red Cross. My link included above (“Magnifelyn”), is where I blogged about it to increase awareness.
Thank you for your generosity.

I admire you for doing this
We donated to doctors without borders. My prayers are with the brave people of Haiti.
Thanks for doing this! I’ve donated to Convoy of Hope which is an organization that feeds hungry people all over the world. Anyone can donate to them at http://www.convoyofhope.org and the donation will go for immediate help in Haiti. This is so great that so many people are pulling their resources together to help! Every little bit will make a difference in someone’s life!
Thanks for all that you do!
Thank you for your efforts!
http://www.just1dollar4haiti.org/ is the website specifically for earthquake relief for the nonprofit Haiti Cheri Havest Life Ministries (www.haiticheri.org). They are an mission organization that partners with Haitian people to improve their quality of life (education, food, medical, etc). Any money donated now goes to earthquake relief. You can check out the website for a link to up-to-date info and correspondence from Haitian friends about the earthquake and effects, and you can make tax-deductible contributions securely online. You are right that every little bit helps- most Haitian people live on less per day than we can scrape out of the ashtray for a Coke in the drive-thru. Having done mission work in Haiti, I have seen first-hand the desolation of everyday life for the Haitian people. This epic disaster is truly heartbreaking, and the long-term consequences are beyond what I can even fathom. Thanks for posting, and thanks for your generosity.
Thank you for doing this! My husband and I are discussing how we can give.

Great what you are doing. I plan to donate to a
local (Dallas area) group of medical workers who are going to Haiti to help. They are with the Forest Park Medical Center. One of the local DFW TV stations covered their plans to fly to Haiti to bring doctors, nurses, and supplies. I like to give to someone that I know will benefit the Haitian people directly.
I am praying for those in Haiti, writing on blogs, and will donate to probably the red cross. Thank you for doing this!

What can we do to help support your site, guess I never thought about how you make a little bit of money off here, I for one have no idea if you get paid by someone just coming to your site or if I should print my coupons from your site…oh how else to help you earn money. If you are going to give $500.00 I want to help you earn it!
