Just a heads up that today and tomorrow (2/2 – 2/3) are the last two days to enter to win a FREE box of Limited Edition Fair Trade Green Mountain Coffee Golden French Toast K-Cups! We were fortunate enough to receive a free box of Golden French Toast K-Cups to try out and review, and thanks to the wonderful folks over at Cross Country Cafe, 4 lucky STS readers will get to have the same experience!
As we’ve said before about deals on K-Cups from Cross Country Cafe, their price per K-Cup pretty much ALWAYS beats the price per K-Cup at your local grocery or retail store. So you might find a box for $11.99 at Target, Kohl’s, etc and $12.99 at Cross Country Cafe (most boxes), but the difference is that you are looking at 12 or 18 packs at the retail stores verses 24-packs at Cross Country Cafe. So the price per K-Cup is MUCH cheaper!
Plus, they are always having clearance deals as well as a big sale on popular K-Cups every Wednesday for their Wacky Wednesday Sale, which usually puts the price around $10.99 for a 24-pack – an awesome price per k-cup. And it’s not the cheap stuff either! (they are actually having an awesome sale on Green Mountain Vermont Blend Regular and Decaf K-Cups this weekend – check that deal out HERE.)
You also get free shipping if you order 5 or more boxes, which keeps the price per k-cup the lowest out there. And if you don’t want to buy 5 boxes all by yourself you can go in with a friend, family member, or office mate who buys k-cups and put in an order together!
And there really isn’t much to say about the Golden French Toast K-Cups other than that they are absolutely wonderful. This morning (the morning this post was originally published – this past Monday) I (Ryan) had two cups of Golden French Toast, but the second cup was a whole lot better than the first. The reason? I was loopy enough to mix french vanilla creamer with the first cup creating a rather awkward taste – but it’s coffee, so I finished it anyway (it’s just what you do ). Then I realized that if I was eating french toast I would not want to drink french vanilla creamer along with it – I would want a big glass of milk! So on the second cup I mixed some whole milk with a little bit of sugar and vwa la! (I think that’s how you spell it) Just right.
It was like drinking french toast. I know, kind of strange, but a BRILLIANT idea for a k-cup. This flavor is even good without creamer, which is saying a lot, as I have to be pretty darn desperate to drink a cup of coffee without creamer. You get the sweet aroma and flavor of french toast in one perfectly brewed cup of coffee. Needless to say, this reviewer highly recommends these k-cups.
So, did I get the juices flowing for drinkable french toast? Ready to enter to win your 24 count box of Golden French Toast K-Cups? Let’s rock ‘n roll:
