Last week I posted about a great program called RecycleBank where you can earn points for recycling. The actual recycling program is only available in certain areas, but anyone can sign up and get the 100 points for new members to use to get some GREAT coupons!
Well, Andrea over at Mommy Snacks found a way to actually earn some points to get MORE coupons!
Kashless.org is a website (similar to Freecycle) where you can give away or get things for free. And sometimes people give away some pretty great stuff! Using Kashless.org is one of the ways that you can earn points on RecycleBank because the points that you get from Kashless will transfer to RecycleBank!
Here’s what to do:
1) If you haven’t already, read about RecycleBank HERE and sign up for an account.
2) Go to Kashless.org HERE and sign up as a new user (or see instructions below to help me get some extra points). They will send you a confirmation email, so make sure that you put in a “real” email address.
3) Once you are signed into Kashless, click on the link at the very top of the page that says “Rewards” and then connect it to your RecycleBank account (the instructions are on the Rewards page).
4) You can earn points for all kinds of things (like adding items or saving searches), but probably the easiest way to earn points is by referring friends. For each email address that you enter (the place to invite friends is on the front page of Kashless.org in the right column) you will get 20 points. You can earn up to 300 points per WEEK (excluding bonus points).
5) Then, just go back to the Rewards section of the Kashless site and click on “Redeem Points” to add them to your Recyclebank account. They should post to your RecycleBank account within 24 hours.
You can go directly to the Kashless.org site HERE to sign up, or if you would like to help me out in gaining some points then you can leave a comment below (your email address that you put in the comment section will only be seen by me) and I will send you an invitation.
Thanks again, Mommy Snacks!

It’s really sad that we use the “greening” of the planet to promote excessive consumerism.
