One of the key steps in saving money on groceries is knowing what the sales cycles are for your area and for the products that you buy regularly.
To help keep track of this, I recommend using just a simple grocery price book that you can print out right from your computer. You can put it in your coupon binder, or create a separate binder just to keep track of all of your price sheets.
Whenever you go to the store, bring your binder with you and record the current price of those products that you are keeping track of. Within a couple of months you’ll see what the rock-bottom price is for that item, and you’ll know that that’s the price point that you’re wanting to shoot for when you stock up on that specific item.
There are two different options for printing. The first option has one price tracking page per sheet, and the second option has two tracking pages per sheet to help conserve paper and prevent your binder from getting too big.
