I ended up making the investment in an Ergo Baby Carrier with my second baby and used it ALL the time… and it lasted through two more kids (and still has a lot of use left too). But the Ergo is pretty expensive at right around $100, so it makes it not quite the ideal shower gift unless several friends go in together to buy one.
But I have friends who absolutely LOVED their baby slings, and at $11.95 (for a sling that’s reg. $40) they really would make the perfect baby shower gift! Seven Slings is advertising this as a “free” baby sling with the coupon code MYSAVINGS, but with shipping at $11.95 that hardly counts as free. BUT, a super cute baby sling for $11.95 is a great price!
Now they will try to add on a $3.95 “size insurance” price where you can return it for a different size within 2 weeks of purchasing. You can remove that option and just get a size that likely will be good for most (like a M or L). Just click on the tab at the top of the page that says “Sizing” to get an idea for the size ranges.
Just be sure to enter the coupon code MYSAVINGS to get the price down to $0 for the sling (and the shipping will be $11.95).
