I have been waiting all week to tell you guys about my absolute favorite product for girls in the 5-12 year old range. This age group really can be a tough age to buy for (ask me how I know!)

… enter Fashion Playtes. Fashion Playtes is a digital design studio where young girls can create their own outfits and then order them to wear. And the prices are very reasonable too!

Here’s how it works:

1. You get a gift certificate from FashionPlaytes.com and give it as a gift to a special little girl in your life.

2. The recipient then goes to FashionPlaytes.com and designs their own outfit! They can choose the color of their top (either a dress, shirt, hoodie or jacket) and then add things like ruffles, frills, appliques, ribbons, rhinestones and even a custom label!

3. They can make as many designs as they want and save them to their digital design studio.

4. Then, once they design the one that’s perfect for them, they can use the gift card to buy it! Yes, the creation that they made online will now come to them in the mail!!

My 7 year old got an opportunity to try it out, and honestly I think that if that was ALL that she got for Christmas she would have been just thrilled. It was really like she got two presents… the first being when she got to design her outfit and the second was when she received it in the mail. The quality of the two tops she got were excellent and look like they will last for years!
