Both my husband and I love to read (and Ryan is definitely a “journaler”), so this gift package was perfect for us!

Zondervan, a Christian publishing company, is giving away a gift package of five great books for Father’s Day! Below is a list of the titles along with a description of each book:

NIV Busy Dad’s Bible: Many things can get in the way of reading God’s Word, but your responsibilities of being a dad shouldn’t. Packed with “1-minute thought starters”—each of which provides a single memorable word to take out into the day—the Busy Dad’s Bible is the perfect support for the time-starved Dad who longs to connect with God to find wisdom and encouragement.
Somewhere More Holy by Tony Woodlief: The poignant and powerful story of his search for meaning in the midst of tragedy. As he and his wife struggled to save their marriage and his faith, they discovered that home is more than just rooms and a roof. Home is a place where people are sometimes wounded or betrayed. Home is also where God is strong in the broken places.
Fathers of the Bible by Robert Wolgemuth: The twelve chapters in Fathers of the Bible offer slices from the biblical stories of men who were fathers. From them, we can learn something about the tasks, privileges, challenges, and failures of fatherhood. Designed for personal prayer and study or for use in small groups, Fathers of the Bible will help you ground your relationship with your children on God’s Word.
Dad’s Prayer Journal by Robert Wolgemuth: A keepsake guided journal designed to encourage fathers to record their prayers, hopes and dreams for their children. This journal includes plenty of space to write, and features insightful questions and uplifting Scripture verses to guide Dads as they create a legacy of prayer that their children will never forget no matter their age.
Let’s Have a Daddy Day by Karen Kingsbury: A playful and heartwarming picture book that celebrates the cherished and unique times that fathers and their children spend together. Whether it’s building forts, wrestling, or catching tadpoles, this book reminds us that there are many ways to have a special day with Daddy.
