I got my kids (2 & 5) Zhu Zhu pets for Christmas. My 2 yr old likes them better then my 5 yr. I guess it really just depends on your kids.

My kids are older so I didn’t get them any when they were so hot at Christmas, but a good friend of mine spent an *OBSCENE* amount of money on the pets and some of the accessories for her 8-yr old daughter for Christmas buying them on Ebay when all of the stores were sold out! That was the *ONLY* thing her daughter was begging for!! She said that she played with them all that day and hasn’t touched them since!!?

I bought two before Christmas. I was standing in line at CVS with my weekly deals in hand when I saw one out of the corner of my eye. I had enough ECB’s that I thought if it is free I will give it a try. Even better it was the last one they had. I hit a gold mine and didn’t even know it at the time =) I ended up lucking out again when Toys R Us brought out a new batch while I was shopping again before Christmas. My daughter (age three) and son (age 22 mo) both LOVE THEM!!! They even named thier pets! My daughter sleeps with her “Skidoo” every night. Last week I saw that my local CVS had the baby Zhu Zhu pets in so I lucked out with picking two up for Easter gifts! I love CVS!!!!!

Dove Scenario:
I tried to print off the $3/2 but it said the campaign was over. I was able to print off two of the $1.25/1. I also went to dove.com and was able to print off two $2/1 coupons for any Dove Ultimate. So I’ll have to try that route instead! Maybe I can round up a couple more coupons!

My 3 yr. old likes the pets, but my 8 yr. old not so much. The clothes are the best part for my little one, and those are HARD to come by in our area.

Thanks for the input everyone! I just might head to CVS and grab one for my 2 year old. I think she would love it. My older two are just dying for a pet, so maybe it would help them be patient a little longer (probably not though). :)

For the Dove/Degree ECB deal, my CVS ad is saying Ultra Clear and Ultimate Clear Dove deodorants are excluded; do you think that means the Ultimate Visibly Smooth is as well? Also, on the Covergirl lipgloss deal, are you referring to the coupon that says buy one Covergirl face product, get one free? So, you can use that on lipglosses, not just face products like foundation and powder? Thanks!

Surviving The Stores Reply:

Yes, in my understanding a “face product” would be anything that you would put on your face (including lipstick, eye products, etc…)

I’m not sure about the Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth, but I think you could make a case that it should be included since it’s not the “Ultimate Clear”.

Hope that helps!
