I really didn’t expect to get everything that I wanted to get at CVS, but I DID! I’m really shocked that they weren’t out of the Roc and the Zooth Toothbrushes!
Here’s what I did (starting out with $20 in ECBs):
Transaction #1:
6 3M Metal Hooks – $2.50 each
2 Zooth Toothbrushes – $1.99 each
2 Gold Emblem Almonds – 99¢ each
1 pack of Huggies Training Pants – $11.99 (not pictured)
2 Insect Repellent Wrist Bands (anyone know if these actually work?)
————————-
Total before coupons/ECBs: $36.93
- $5/$25 CVS coupon
- 6 $2.50/1 3M coupons
- B1G1 Zooth coupon
- $2/1 Huggies coupon
- $2 off any Gold Emblem nuts
- $10 in ECBs from last week
—————————
$1.76 out of pocket after coupons and ECBs
Got back $7 in ECBs ($5 for 3M, $2 for Zooth toothbrushes)
Transaction #2:
5 Roc Cleansers – $3.99 each
2 Roc Cleansers – $5.99 each
————————
Total before coupons and ECBs: $31.93
- $4/$20 Beauty product coupon (printed out at the price scanner machine)
- 7 $3/1 Roc coupons
- $6.93 ECBs from transaction #1 (they adjusted the $2 one down to $1.93)
————————–
$0 out of pocket after coupons and ECBs
Got back $10 in ECBs from the Roc deal (and it looks to be at least Limit 2 instead of Limit 1)
Transaction #3:
Pampers Diapers – $11.99
———————
Total: $11.99
- $1/1 Pampers coupon
- $10 in ECBs from last week
———————
$1.07 out of pocket after coupon and ECBs
And I still have the $10 in ECBs that I got from Transaction #2 to use next week!!
So how much would all of this have cost? $80.85
How much did I pay out of pocket? $2.83
That’s a savings of 96%!!

Wonderful deals! That is so great!!
I picked up the Zooth toothbrushes today but they were out of the 3M hooks. I hope my other store has them – if not I’ll be getting a raincheck for them
Awesome! I got the Roc stuff Sunday but have only found 3 hooks. Guess I’ll have to get a rain check.
The insect bands work really well!
The insect bands work really well!
I get a lot of $2 off $10 and $5 off $25 coupons, but they say for a CVS brand purchase, does that mean only the CVS brand, how do those work?
Anonymous,
The $2/$10 coupons are typically for CVS Brand only purchases, so you would only be able to use those on items that are specifically CVS Brand products.
The $5/$25 coupons are usually off any purchase.
I love the hook deal! I did it yesterday, it will print when you reach the $15.00. I had to go to 3 cvs’s…I paid $.90 out of pocket got 6 hooks, and $5.00 in ECB, also they were out of metal hooks so the guy let me use the coupon on the plastic ones!-Lindsey
oh you totally rock!
That is awesome! I used your insights and got some incredible deals this week as well! Thanks so much for posting this so we can all save MORE than just a buck
I have one question for you … You always seem to have the $5 off a $25 purchase coupon print out for you, while I have yet to get one! Is there some trick or tip to getting them to print for your Extra Care card??

Where did you find the Roc coupons?
