I really didn’t expect to get everything that I wanted to get at CVS, but I DID! I’m really shocked that they weren’t out of the Roc and the Zooth Toothbrushes!
Here’s what I did (starting out with $20 in ECBs):
Transaction #1:
6 3M Metal Hooks – $2.50 each
2 Zooth Toothbrushes – $1.99 each
2 Gold Emblem Almonds – 99¢ each
1 pack of Huggies Training Pants – $11.99 (not pictured)
2 Insect Repellent Wrist Bands (anyone know if these actually work?)
————————-
Total before coupons/ECBs: $36.93
- $5/$25 CVS coupon
- 6 $2.50/1 3M coupons
- B1G1 Zooth coupon
- $2/1 Huggies coupon
- $2 off any Gold Emblem nuts
- $10 in ECBs from last week
—————————
$1.76 out of pocket after coupons and ECBs
Got back $7 in ECBs ($5 for 3M, $2 for Zooth toothbrushes)
Transaction #2:
5 Roc Cleansers – $3.99 each
2 Roc Cleansers – $5.99 each
————————
Total before coupons and ECBs: $31.93
- $4/$20 Beauty product coupon (printed out at the price scanner machine)
- 7 $3/1 Roc coupons
- $6.93 ECBs from transaction #1 (they adjusted the $2 one down to $1.93)
————————–
$0 out of pocket after coupons and ECBs
Got back $10 in ECBs from the Roc deal (and it looks to be at least Limit 2 instead of Limit 1)
Transaction #3:
Pampers Diapers – $11.99
———————
Total: $11.99
- $1/1 Pampers coupon
- $10 in ECBs from last week
———————
$1.07 out of pocket after coupon and ECBs
And I still have the $10 in ECBs that I got from Transaction #2 to use next week!!
So how much would all of this have cost? $80.85
How much did I pay out of pocket? $2.83
That’s a savings of 96%!!
