CVS Beginner Scenario for 5/10 – 5/16

May

Saturday

Here is a possible CVS Scenario for the ad starting 5/10.

To do different transactions just let the cashier know that you want to ring things up separately! It’s that easy! You don’t have to walk out of the store and come back in or go to the end of the line (although it is courteous to allow someone with just a few items to checkout in between your transactions).

NOTE: Your scenario may not work out exactly like the one below if they are out of something, so make sure to have a backup plan in mind.

The coupon matchups for these transactions can be found HERE.

Transaction #1:

Buy Bayer/Ascensia Meter – $14.99 (you can donate these to your local church or to a senior citizens center)
Use $30/1 coupon
———————
Pay $0 out of pocket

Get back $5 in ECBs

Transaction #2:

Buy Schick Quattro Razor – $8.99
Use $4/1 coupon
Use $5 ECBs from Transaction #1 (they can adjust it down to $4.99)
———————-
Pay $0 out of pocket

Get back $4 in ECBs

Transaction #3:

Buy Bayer Quick Release Crystals – $2
Buy Crest Pro Health Enamel Shield Rinse – $3.49
Use $1/1 Bayer coupon from tearpad (if you use this coupon you will need a small 50¢ “Filler” item to get your total to $6)
Use $1/1 Pro Health Rinse coupon
Use $4 ECBs from Transaction #2
———————
Pay $0 – 49¢ out of pocket

Get back $4 in ECBs

Transaction #4:

Buy 6 Colgate Toothbrushes – $1.99 each (total $11.94)
Use 6 $1/1 coupons
Use $4 ECBs from Transaction #3
———————
Pay $1.94 out of pocket

Get back $5 in ECBs

Transaction #5:

Buy 3 Skippy Peanut Butter – $5 total
Buy 3 Ragu Sauce – $5 total
Use 3 40¢/1 Skippy coupons
Use 3 30¢/1 Ragu coupons
Use $5 ECBs from Transaction #4
——————–
Pay $2.90 out of pocket

Get back $3 in ECBs

Then you can save those ECBs for next week or you can use them to buy other items you may need.

How much would you have paid out of pocket for all of the above? $4.84!!

How much would all of this have cost you paying full price (minus the Glucose Meter since you probably wouldn’t have bought that otherwise): $36.42

What about you guys? Do you have a CVS scenario or trip for this ad that you would like to share? Leave a link! Please link directly to your CVS trip or scenario post.

If you follow the blog couponing 101, she has a link to the ads. Someone (I don’t know who) scans them and you can view them online. They are usually at hotcouponworld.com, but I just link to them from the blog I mentioned. I hope that helps!

Hello from Florida! We did not get any St. Ives or Nivea coupons this Sunday. Nor do I have any Bayer meter coupons. So I won’t be able to get much at CVS this week!

I’m seriously considering buying coupons from online clippers or ebay. Anybody have luck with these?
