Restaurant.com is  great way to try out local restaurants at a huge discount. If you are looking to eat out well without spending a lot of money, Restaurant.com is just about the best way to do it.

Here’s how:

1.  Head over to the Restaurant.com home page HERE.

2. Shop around for restaurants in your area (or any other area you may be going).

3.  Add a $10 Restaurant Gift Card to your cart. At checkout, use the coupon code SAUCE to get the price down to $5.

4.  Enjoy a great meal out at a great price or give them as gifts! :)

Keep in mind that with the gift cards from Restaurant.com you typically have to spend a certain amount before you can use the gift card. To use most of the $25 gift cards you have to have an order total of at least $35. But since the gift cards are just $5 each, you end up getting a $35 meal for only $15 out of pocket! (plus generous tip :) ) Be sure to also read the terms and conditions for each restaurant as they do vary and most require an automatic 18% gratuity.

We have used Restaurant.com here in the Dallas, TX area and have always had a great experience! We always recommend though checking the menu of the restaurant you would like to buy a gift card from to make sure the prices aren’t too high as well as calling ahead and talking to the owner or manager to make sure they will honor the voucher (make sure to get the manager’s name too!)

Have you guys heard of the Dollar Shave Club before? I (Ryan) signed up for this awhile back due to a Dollar Shave Club Groupon I was able to get for free and was pretty surprised at the value along with cost of the blades (especially if you don’t live near the drug stores where you can get free razors throughout the year!)

And guys/gals, you’ve got to see the commercial they put up on their website. It is seriously one of the funniest commercials I have ever seen – I think I laughed about it for at least 10 minutes after I saw it the first time.
