Baking Day Progress!

BakingDay-1
Of all things to run out of, I ran out of FLOUR! I guess most of my actual “baking” will have to be done tomorrow. But I did get several meals prepared and ready to be frozen (or put in the refrigerator to be used this week).

Oh, and I made 4 loaves of bread, but one is already halfway gone! :)

YEA – you’re doing great. I completely know how you feel. Last Baking Day, most of my muffins and 3 out of 4 loaves of bread were gone before I was done with the day..UGH. Hide it in the freezer right away. :)

@Jen@Balancing Beauty and Bedlam, Lol! I took your advice – everything is safely packed away. :)

I am guessing you have the upright freezer? The stuff in a chest freezer would never see the light of day again here. What happens if your freezer goes out?

@Lynda, Yes, I do have an upright freezer. We traded our chest freezer a couple of years ago for an upright and it was the best decision ever!

One suggestion–I flash feeze my cookie dough in balls to use throughout the month, and also freeze my brownie mix ready in the pan, so all I have to do is defrost and bake. It’s fresher. This also works with cheesecake, and apple pies….
