Amazon: Garmin Nuvi Portable GPS 5-Inch Widescreen with Lifetime Traffic & Maps for $199.99! (List $299)

I’m pretty hesitant about posting GPS deals due to the cost and the unreliability of many GPS’, but I found one today on Amazon that you may want to consider if you were in the market for a GPS for yourself or as a gift.

Amazon has the Garmin nüvi 2460LMT 5-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Map & Traffic Updates on Gold Box Deal for $199.99 plus free super-saver shipping or free 2-day shipping with Amazon Prime!

The list price on this is $299 and yesterday’s price was $246.88, so you are saving a good amount on the GPS if you purchase today. I also like that it has Lifetime Traffic and Map updates so you always have the latest data. Plus, they have an average of 4 out of 5 stars from 87 customer reviews, so it looks like most of the people who bought it are glad they did! :)

You can also add the Garmin GPS Friction Mount I’ve posted about before for $21.88 or the Amazon Basics GPS Friction Mount compatible with this GPS for $13.99.

Here are some more of the features (from the product’s Amazon page):

  • Includes Free Lifetime Map Updates
  • Speak Commands
  • Experience nüRoute Technology with trafficTrends and myTrends
  • Receive Free Lifetime Traffic Updates
  • Make Hands-free Calls
  • Know the Lane Before It’s Too Late
  • Get Turn-by-Turn Directions
  • Select Fuel-efficient Routes
  • And more!

This is the Amazon Gold Box deal, so it is good for today only, 10/7/11.
