Aldi is a great place to shop to save big money each week. Even though they don’t accept coupons (although they are experimenting with it now in some stores), their regular prices are many times lower than you could get at other grocery stores EVEN with using coupons!
Many of the brands at Aldi are the exact same brands that you see in the regular grocery stores (you’ll recognize some of the packaging types), they are just relabeled to be exclusively for Aldi and typically sell for MUCH less.
Here are a few things to know that might be helpful when shopping at Aldi:
Bring a quarter with you. You have to pay a quarter to get a shopping cart, but you get that quarter back when you return the cart.
Bring cash or a debit card. Aldi only accepts cash, debit cards, or Food Stamps, so be sure you’re prepared with a form of payment that they accept!
Bring your own bags. Unless you want to put everything in your car individually, then be sure to bring your own bags! They do sell some at the front of the store (5¢ for small bags, 10¢ for larger) in case you forget yours and still want a bag.
Below are the current Aldi Specials broken down by region. If your region is not in this list you can use the deals in any of these regions except for the meat and produce deals (you can also call your local Aldi and ask them what region your store is in).
For your local meat and produce you will need to check the Aldi ad for your local store (we hope to have all regions in here soon so please check back if your region is not listed here yet). You will also want to check your ad to see if it starts on Sunday or Wednesday and use one of those lists for the non-meat/produce deals.
Don’t see your Aldi Region? Let us know which one we’re missing and we’ll do our best to add it as soon as possible!
