Are you having trouble with printable coupons? I found out recently, thanks to a very helpful post from Mommy’s Wish List, how to fix it! Here’s a recap of what to do:

When trying to print a “bricks” coupon (the ones that start out with “http://bricks.coupons.com/………”) you will need to change a couple of letters in the address depending on which browser you are using.

For example, in my Target post yesterday, I linked to the Huggies Pull-ups printable coupon. Here’s what the address looks like:

http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qfhsaei61276871&bt=vi&o=57042&c=PU&p=smDpIRXJ

If you are using Internet Explorer, this link will work just fine. For those using Internet Explorer (IE) your link can look like this

http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qfhsaei61276871&bt=vi&o=57042&c=PU&p=smDpIRXJ

or this

http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qfhsaei61276871&bt=wi&o=57042&c=PU&p=smDpIRXJ

What if you are using Firefox (FF)? Just change those two bold letters in the addresses above to either “vg” or “wg.” So it would look like this

http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qfhsaei61276871&bt=vg&o=57042&c=PU&p=smDpIRXJ

or this

http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qfhsaei61276871&bt=wg&o=57042&c=PU&p=smDpIRXJ

What about those of you (like myself) who print your coupons from Safari on your Mac? Just change those same two letters to “xs” which would look like this

http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qfhsaei61276871&bt=xs&o=57042&c=PU&p=smDpIRXJ

There you go! Hopefully that will help when you click on “print coupon” and all you see is a screen that says “please wait.” Just check the address to make sure it’s the right one for your browser!

Thanks, Lea Ann!

What about those smartsource coupons. I can print them fine from work but at home whether I use firefox I.E. or any other browser it always prints completely blank pages for me.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You rock! I use Firefox and sometimes can't print. Now I know why. My mom has a Mac and has had issues printing before. This may be why! Thank you!

Resweater,

I use Firefox on my Mac too and I use the same code for Firefox above. Sometimes though, Firefox freaks out on me no matter what I do, so I just switch it over to Safari.

Rachel, thanks for such a tremendous resource! I am new to this couponing/extra bucks stuff. So far I’m loving it. :) I admit I haven’t read all of the info on this post or your links for lack of time. However I thought I’d share the fact that I couldn’t print for a long time–

I was using Google Chrome as a browser–it does not allow printing on some links for some reason.

Thanks!

@map, I’m not sure.

Has anyone else tried printing coupons on Opera?
