CLOSED! GIVEAWAY: Night at the Great Wolf Lodge! Ends June 9th

Summer is fast approaching and gas prices are continuing to rise. Hopefully they don’t get up to where they were last year, but they are definitely climbing.

In light of this, I have been thinking about places that we could take a small weekend getaway vacation that would be fun for everyone, but not have to spend hundreds of dollars in gas to get there!

So I was super excited when The Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas offered us a chance to come and try out their Resort and to give away a FREE NIGHT to one of my readers!!

We went this past weekend, and even though I had checked out their website and thought I knew what to expect, I was BLOWN AWAY!

The Great Wolf Lodge is a wonderful, family-oriented indoor waterpark and hotel. And it’s a FULL waterpark! Who would have thought they would be able to fit so many rides, slides, a wave pool, a lazy rizer, and several kid areas INSIDE?!?! Wow! Our kids are all pretty young (7, 4 and 1 1/2) and there was something there for all of them and they all (including the 1 1/2 year old) had a blast! We have so many wonderful memories from our two days at the waterpark that will last a lifetime.

Here are a few of my favorite things about The Great Wolf Lodge:

• Even if you just stay one night, you get to play in the waterpark for TWO days! Two days at most waterparks would typically cost upwards of $200 for 5 people, but at the Great Wolf Lodge you can get two days at the waterpark AND a night in the hotel for under $200!

• Your wristband that you wear while you are there is your pass into the waterpark, your room key, and you can use it to charge your food to your room (although you have to be careful with this last one for sure!) It’s so nice to not have to worry about carrying around keys, or cash to pay for lunch.

• There are so many activities for kids other than the waterpark, so if you wanted to stay longer than a day or two there would be PLENTY for the kids to do.

• The Kid Cabin room that we stayed in was made specifically with kids in mind. It had a separate bunk bed area that the kids just loved!

• The waterpark has areas that will appeal to every age group. There is an area designed just for toddlers, a huge fort designed with 5-9 year olds in mind (I have to admit that my husband and I had a blast in this area as well!), and HUGE rides and slides for the older ones!
